Joel Wiest is passionate about the mission of TWIGS Restoration Ministry and is drawn to its mission and values. His initial conversation with Sarah led to an inspiring face-to-face meeting. Joel was deeply inspired by her story, impressed by her passion, and genuinely felt valued by her interest in his background. After reading her book, Joel is excited about the opportunity to get involved and make a difference with the organization.
With over 25 years of legal experience, Joel has expertise in family law—adoptions, custody, and divorce—as well as criminal defense and nonprofit representation. He graduated from Line Mountain High School, Susquehanna University, and Widener Law School, and has served the Susquehanna Valley throughout his career.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and dogs, as well as hunting and fishing.
